Supporting The Pioneer Club, a safe haven for young people in St Albans since 1941
A youth and community centre, the UK's oldest indoor skatepark and a grassroots live music venue. We've cleaned their windows free of charge for over a year, and we'd love you to get behind them too.

A safe haven for young people since 1941
The Pioneer Club started during the Second World War as a safe place for children evacuated from London. Over 80 years later it's still doing the same job, just off Harpenden Road in St Albans.
Today it's a community youth centre focused on building young people's confidence, resilience and sense of belonging, through skating, music and the arts.

The charity's work
Why we give them our time
Charities like The Pioneer Club run on donations and volunteers. Every pound they don't spend on upkeep can go on the young people instead.
That's why we've cleaned their windows for free for over a year. It's a small thing. What they do for St Albans is a big one.
How you can help The Pioneer Club
Money spent at the club goes back into the young people, so every bit helps.
